STAR ECO Station in partnership with the City of Rocklin joins over 800 leading aquariums, zoos, museums and conservation organizations around the world to celebrate our world's oceans through fun, educational and inspirational activities. On this day we will also unveil our new STORM DRAIN EXHIBIT sponsored in part by the Teichert Foundation. Its a fun, new inter-active walk-through exhibit for all. Learn how to protect area watersheds, rivers and ultimately the ocean. There will be ocean themed crafts and activities, an art show and auction, stories from the ECO Station resident mermaid in Memoirs of a Mermaid, view educational DVD's on storm water pollutants, live performances from STAR Youth Orchestra & theatre students, sign our global message board, adopt-a-storm drain, carnival games, leave your mark at the ECO Station and paint a tile for our tortoise run plus exotic animal encounters and much more.
